Gracious Gifting

Gifting Communities Beyond Wrapping

With great weather, world-class food, art, and friendly people, it is no doubt that San Francisco is one of the most desirable places to live; however, there’s another side that people often overlook, which include our most vulnerable populations living on the streets of our beautiful city, subject to homelessness, substance use and mental health disorders.

Gifting is a beautiful component of human interaction, defining and strengthening the relationship between people. Give Me Giftz strives for that outcome not only for the clients we serve, but for those also less fortunate that don’t have the luxury of receiving a gift. As a person working in the non-profit sector for the last decade, those less fortunate than myself hold a place near and dear to my heart. I made a commitment when first starting my business venture that once I turned a small profit, I would incorporate philanthropy into my small business.

With a culture of gifting others, Give Me Giftz commits to the following charitable gestures on an annual basis:

  • Partnering with another business during the holidays who are donating gifts to youth less fortunate, and wrap the gifts at no cost

  • Donate 5% of proceedings on the last week of December to a local non-profit, including animal shelters

  • During the months of November to December, initiate a sock and toy drive and offer 5% discounts to customers who donate a pair of socks or new toy

  • As a mobile business, we drive around the city of San Francisco often; we will work actively to create and maintain Give Me Giftz “go-bags” to hand out to those on the street; these will include hygiene kits, first-aid kits, snacks and a resource flyer of outreach organizations.

The gift giving experience we provide is so imporant to us; and making an impact in our community is just as important.
